NEWNAN, Ga. (November 29, 2010)—Piedmont Newnan Hospital has named Timothy J. Lacny director of cardiovascular services. Lacny is responsible for the daily operations of all cardiovascular services associated with the hospital, including the new Piedmont Cardiovascular Imaging Center, which opened in October.
“Piedmont Newnan Hospital, along with the Piedmont Heart Institute, is committed to further developing a comprehensive cardiovascular program in Coweta County,” said Nathan Nipper, vice president and COO of Piedmont Newnan Hospital. “Tim’s immense experience in clinical operations, business development, financial planning, and service excellence makes him an ideal addition to our management team for a growing, critical service line.”
Prior to joining Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Lacny served as director of operations for radiology services at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He has over 25 years experience in diagnostic imaging, management and operations.
In his spare time, Lacny enjoys indoor and outdoor rock climbing, yoga, traveling and history. He is active in both the Livestrong Foundation and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
