Scheduling A Procedure
Your doctor has ordered a test that will be done at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Our Centralized Scheduling Department will schedule all your tests and provide you with information that simplifies your trip to the hospital and avoids delays.
To pre-register for your test, please allow 10 -15 minutes for your first call to Centralized Scheduling. We will get all the information from you that is normally obtained at the hospital during registration, give you instructions about your particular test and eliminate registration delays for you on the day of your procedure.
On the day of your procedure, please go to the Front Desk area in the hospital lobby if you have pre-registered.
Please pre-register at least two – three days before the date of your procedure. There are convenient ways to pre-register for your outpatient procedure:

Radiology Procedures
- At least three days before your appointment, have your physician’s office call us at 770-254-3668.
- Have your physician’s office fax us a copy of your order and insurance card to 770-254-3653.
- Have your physician’s office write down your scheduled appointment date and time, along with any special instructions.
- Failure to have the proper pre-authorized/pre-certification for a procedure will delay service to be rendered. A 48-hour rule will be enforced, whereby the procedure may need to be rescheduled if the approval is not received.

- Provide your insurance information.
- Bring your physician order(s) with you to the hospital if you have been given a copy.
- Bring co-payment amount if due when you come to the hospital on the day of your test.
